About the Opportunity

• Process accurate and timely biweekly payroll using Dayforce.
• Review, validate, and maintain payroll data while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
• Manage employee timesheets, time-off requests, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and perform payroll reconciliations.
• Prepare year-end payroll documentation, including T4s and Records of Employment (ROEs).
• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and leave-related updates.
• Manage employee savings plans (RRSP, RESP, FHSA, DPSP) and maintain accurate records.
• Track employee leaves, coordinate return-to-work processes, and support disability and accommodation programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
• Generate HR and payroll reports and support month-end and year-end reporting.
• Assist with onboarding, employee communications, policy updates, and HR administration.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives, employee events, and special HR projects.
• Maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional service to employees.

About You

• College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Payroll, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience.
• Minimum 1 year of employee benefits administration experience.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll using **Dayforce** (required).
• Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, Employment Standards, and payroll compliance.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace.
• PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is considered a strong asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Salary Range
$68,000 - $72,000/year
