Island HealthComox Valley, BC, CAAn opportunity exists for a full-time or part-time Family Physician to build their practice in a collegial office in Courtenay in the Comox Valley.
We are a group of six doctors. We have an in-house dermatologist who we work alongside. We all maintain a mixture of interests outside of Community-based office work, including In-Hospital, Long Term Care, Medical Leadership, MAID, FP Oncology and Medical Education. We're happy to support you in any additional work pattern you chose. We have an established cross cover scheme to ensure that you can take leave when you wish. We are flexible on the business model for your practice and open to negotiation and discussion. Our primary aim is team harmony and mutual support, something we've maintained as a group for a number of years.
We are a Primary Care Network (PCN) community, and as a clinic engage with PCN. Help us to build team based care, and a style of practice you can influence within one of the early PCNs.
Start Date : As soon as possible
Benefits : May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including :
Recruitment Incentive - $10,; Fee Premium - 6.93%; Annual Flat Fee - $10,.52; Relocation Costs Reimbursement : up to a maximum of $15, (amount based on funding availability and on location relocating from); Rural CME starting at $2, / annum in years 3 & 4 in the community, increasing to a maximum of $4, / annum after 4 years
