What you will do

Full-time, Maintenance Technician for the Second Shift

This position reports into the Maintenance Supervisor and is based in Guelph, Canada.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated electrician to join the Production Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. You will support both processing and packaging equipment maintenance activities during the afternoon shift (3pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all manufacturing equipment, perform repairs, and support daily maintenance processes

  • Execute Preventative, Corrective, and Emergency Maintenance work orders by following internal SOPs and procedures while adhering to GMP and safety requirements.

  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and reliability activities where required.

  • Support job plan and preventative maintenance review and migration into Maximo

  • Own specific critical equipment as defined by the site’s reliability roadmap

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.

  • Electrician 442A and/or

    Industrial Millwright 433A or Journeyman 309A, one ticket required, two an asset.

  • Proven track record of working independently to troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain production equipment.

  • Strong aptitude for problem solving.

  • Technical expertise in processing and/or packaging.

Desired Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good documentation practices

  • Proficient with MS Office suite

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$53,000.00 - $86,135.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
