Job Title : Lab Material Handler

Job Description

The Lab Material Handler will support a team of 37 microbiologists in their lab by ensuring all products and raw materials are handled efficiently. The role includes maintaining cleanliness of instruments and labs according to GMP standards, preparing test tools, and managing inventory using Excel and an RF scanner. The position involves physical tasks, including moving equipment and lifting boxes up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of instruments, labs, fridges, and incubators.
• Prepare and organize test tools and equipment for microbiologists.
• Manage inventory using Excel, including tracking products in and out.
• Use an RF scanner to track received materials.
• Move and stock equipment in the lab, lifting boxes up to 40lbs.
• Receive products into inventory, spending approximately 4 hours daily.
• Support cleaning and preparation tasks, spending approximately 4 hours daily.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role with approximately 20 people per shift. The day shift runs from 6 : 00am to 2 : 00pm, and the afternoon shift runs from 2 : 00pm to 10 : 00pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00 / hr.
