Material Handler
Position Summar y :
Responsible for movement of raw materials, finished products, and equipment. May also utilize
forklift truck, cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and other moving equipment to meet job
requirements . Extra bonus of having your order picker / cherry picker forklift certification, with fall arrest and / or working at heights. May perform other general warehouse functions in support of operational
requirements.
Key Accountabilities :
- Maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
- Oversees safe and reliable packaging of all outgoing shipments.
- Process items for shipment according to established guidelines and procedures.
- Review shipping notices, bills of lading, orders, and other records to determine shipping
priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping, utilizing
knowledge of shipping procedures
