  • Support deployment and sustainability of the Daily Management System (DMS), including daily meetings, visual management boards, standard work, KPI review, escalation routines, and action follow-up.
  • Partner with the Plant Manager and site leadership team to maintain a prioritized CI pipeline aligned with bakery performance objectives.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Use site performance data and internal analytics tools, including Power BI, Excel, ERP systems, and operational reports, to identify trends, losses, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain and support performance dashboards, action trackers, and CI project documentation to ensure visibility, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Monitor key bakery performance indicators, including safety, quality, efficiency, waste, downtime, labour utilization, overtime, cost, and engagement metrics.
CI Culture, Coaching & Change Management

  • Support training, communication, and engagement activities that build ownership of improvement initiatives at all levels of the bakery.
  • Help remove barriers to change by involving stakeholders, communicating clearly, recognizing quick wins, and sustaining implemented improvements.
Site Performance & Full Potential Identification
  • Analyze current bakery performance against targets, standards, and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support line-level assessments, loss analysis, bottleneck identification, labour utilization reviews, and process capability improvements.
  • Assist in defining and sustaining ideal line standards, standard work, and performance routines for key bakery processes.
  • Track project progress, validate results where applicable, and report updates to the Plant Manager and site leadership team.
Experience & Education:

  • Post-secondary education in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Food Science , Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training is preferred; Black Belt certification is considered an asset

  • Ability to interpret operational data and translate findings into practical improvement actions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI, ERP systems, or manufacturing performance systems is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, coach, and engage associates and leaders without direct authority.
  • Practical understanding of safety, food quality, GMPs, and manufacturing discipline in a bakery or food production environment.

The annual salary range for applicants is: $67,700 - $100,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
