Job Title : Senior Network Analyst

Contract Duration : 12 Months

Location : Edmonton, AB

Work Type : Hybrid, In-office work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and remote work on Thursdays and Fridays.

About the Role :

As a Senior Network Analyst, you will be instrumental in implementing and supporting our Cisco Secure Workload solution, a crucial component of our Zero Trust Network initiative. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Network Architecture and Design :

Design and implement Cisco Secure Workload solutions to secure workloads across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Collaborate with security and network teams to develop and enforce Zero Trust security policies.

Network Implementation and Configuration :

Deploy and configure Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Implement network segmentation and micro-segmentation policies.

Configure network access controls and security policies.

Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting :

Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.

Troubleshoot network problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime.

Analyze network logs and security events to detect and respond to threats.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing :

Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications :

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.

Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate (CCCA) or equivalent.

Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust (CCZT) preferred.

Experience :

5+ years of experience in network engineering and security.

Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.

Experience with Zero Trust architectures, micro-segmentation, and network segmentation.

Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
