Robert Half is hiring now for an experienced Network Engineer / Technical Architect for our Client. As the successful Candidate you will be accountable for network architecture, planning, administration, maintenance, documentation creation & upkeep, and technical leadership for all network and communications services, including monitoring and analysis. You have broad practice working in a large scale, highly collaborative, regionally diverse technical teams with in-depth experience in the creation of roadmaps, planning, architecting the network and management of network resources. This role is based in the Edmonton, AB., area but has the flexibility for remote work permissions for eligible Candidates.

Job Requirements : MUST HAVES :

• 5+ years proven working experience a network engineering role with in-depth knowledge of designing and architecting networks
• Proficient working experience with Fortinet products within an Enterprise environment
• Exceptional skill and working experience with Vendor management
• Proven working ability with Azure cloud computing platform
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise network operations including solution design & deployment, system and network administration, reporting and analysis and change management
• Expert knowledge of Fortinet firewall solutions
• Solid working ability Windows Networks
• Strong knowledge of switches, routers, and various network services
• Demonstrated ability to produce business and technical documentation
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language along with good facilitation skills
• Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
• Fortinet certification required, MCP with Azure Specialization
• Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
