Position Summary
The organization is seeking an M2 Mechanic Licensed Technician to be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and repairing various mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Detect structural, mechanical, or hydraulic aircraft problems and adjust and repair them according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and procedures.
Repair and overhaul structural, mechanical, or hydraulic aircraft systems.
Install and modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems such as mechanical and hydraulic systems, flight control, fuel systems, and pneumatic systems.
Dismantle airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, return them to serviceable condition, clean, and reassemble them.
Perform routine maintenance, report / write up defects, and order required parts.
Check aircraft structural and mechanical systems and ensure that these systems meet the performance and safety standards of Transport Canada and the organization.
Monitor quality of operations, identify anomalies, and make necessary corrections.
Perform surveys of parameters; read and interpret the parameters.
Actively participate in the organization’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting safety hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand and promote the company safety policy.
Keep detailed reports on the repair, inspection, and certification of aircraft.

Education and Experience
Working towards or have a valid Transport Canada M2 license.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance.
737 NG / Max and / or Embraer 170 / 190 endorsements are an asset.
Clear understanding of manufacturers’ and regulatory documentation, including Service Bulletins, Engineering Drawings, etc., and ensuring thorough application of technical documentation.
Ability to meet quality, cost, and time commitments.
Proficiency in reading drawings and applying technical documentation rigorously.
Clear understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS).
Extensive knowledge and skilled use of trade tools and processes.
Mastery in the use of complex equipment for testing.
Must have own set of tools and toolbox (specialty and calibrated tools provided).
