Senior Engineering Manager – Power SystemsA leading company in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager – Power Systems to oversee its engineering team and drive product development. This role focuses on team leadership, engineering process improvement, and delivering high-quality power system solutions.Key Responsibilities : Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring efficient resource allocation.Develop and implement product roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.Oversee power system design, documentation, and testing.Optimize engineering processes and maintain standard operating procedures.Solve technical and procedural challenges while fostering a collaborative work environment.Manage staffing, training, and performance evaluations.Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.Qualifications : 7+ years of experience, including 5+ years in leadership or project management.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).Strong expertise in AC / DC power systems and simulation / modeling techniques (MBD, HIL, MIL, SIL).Experience with Verification & Validation (V&V) processes and engineering tools (PLM, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Altium).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.Willingness to travel as needed.Preferred Qualifications : Experience in telecommunications power systems and industry standards (UL / CSA, NEBS, etc.).Knowledge of thermodynamics, electronics packaging, and HVAC systems.Experience leading global teams and working in product development.This is an opportunity to lead an innovative team and contribute to cutting-edge energy solutions.
