Production Assembler

Location: Burnaby, BC

Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 . – 12:00 .

Pay: $21.00/hour

Employment Type: 1‑year contract


Job Summary

The Production Assembler supports the assembly of medical devices in a fast‑paced production and cleanroom environment. This role involves rotating through multiple assembly stations, following written work instructions, and using small hand tools to build high‑quality products.

This position is ideal for detail‑oriented candidates who are reliable, enjoy hands‑on work, and are comfortable standing for the entire shift in a regulated manufacturing setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble medical devices on a fast‑paced production line as part of a team.
  • Rotate through multiple assembly stations and complete cross‑training over time.
  • Follow written English work instructions to assemble products accurately.
  • Use small hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, and tweezers.
  • Maintain a steady pace to support production flow and meet daily targets.
  • Perform quality‑focused assembly work with strong attention to detail.
  • Work both independently and with teammates at shared workstations.
  • Complete cleanroom tasks on a rotating basis, including labeling and packaging.
  • Stand for the full shift and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Use basic computer systems to reference instructions or enter simple data.
  • Follow all safety, cleanroom, and contamination‑control procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid work authorization with at least 1 year remaining.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast‑paced production or assembly environment.
  • Ability to commit to a 1‑year contract.
  • Experience using small hand tools.
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts.
  • Ability to stand for the full shift and lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good English reading and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom under strict contamination‑control rules.
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Soldering experience
  • PCB or electronic assembly experience
  • Experience in regulated or clean manufacturing environments
  • Ability to learn new tasks and stations quickly
