Finning Canada is looking for passionate and experienced Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanics (Red Seal preferred) to join our team dedicated to servicing our customers in Golden and surrounding area on a 7x7 Shift. You will be responsible for troubleshooting repairs maintenance and diagnostics of a variety of Caterpillar equipment.

Job Description : Major Job Functions

Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in a service oriented gas compression environment

Interface with customers products and sales support

Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements

Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

Various related duties as required

• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement

Specific Skills & Experience

Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal is an asset)

Minimum of 5 years experience repairing CAT equipment

Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills

Completion or in the process of completing all Finning S- level courses

Self-motivated and computer literate

Experience with Costwatcher DBS SIS and Warranty Systems as well as a good understanding of Finning systems would all be assets

Successful candidate will need to be customer orientated and motivated to meet the customers expectations

Ability to work safely with minimal supervision

This position will work a 7x7 Shift

A recent drivers abstract is required
