What You’ll Be Doing
Field & Laboratory Testing – Conduct quality control and assurance testing on construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Sampling & Inspection – Prepare and collect representative samples for laboratory analysis and monitor material placement and workmanship on construction projects.
Quality Monitoring – Identify and report any non‑conformance issues or deviations to management promptly.

Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with supervisors, clients, and team members to support project delivery and maintain strong professional relationships.
Documentation & Reporting – Accurately record field data, testing results, and observations in compliance with quality control standards and Inline’s ISO 9001 Quality Program.
Continuous Learning – Take initiative to develop your technical skills and understanding of materials testing processes through on‑the‑job training and mentorship.
What We’re Looking For
Education – Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Civil Engineering Technology or related program.
Safety Certifications – CSTS 2020, CSO, and WHMIS 2015 certifications (Inline will assist in obtaining if required).
Technical Skills – Basic understanding of construction materials testing procedures, equipment handling, and data recording.
Communication & Teamwork – Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively with team members.
Attention to Detail – Organized and accurate in documenting test results and maintaining quality records.
Physical Readiness – Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Willingness to Travel – Availability to travel to project sites across Canada for either local or FIFO assignments.
Work Options
Local Opportunities – Work on projects near major hubs and get to be home every night.
