Summary

The Practice Manager at Rehoboth Clinic is a key leader responsible for the smooth, efficient, and patient-centered operation of a growing family medicine and multidisciplinary healthcare clinic in Steinbach, Manitoba. This role ensures that administrative, financial, and clinical support systems function seamlessly, enabling physicians and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality care. The Practice Manager oversees daily operations, leads the administrative team, manages budgets and compliance, and drives continuous improvement in patient experience and clinic performance. By leveraging technology—especially LibreMD EMR—and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, the Practice Manager plays a vital role in advancing the clinic’s mission and supporting its long-term growth.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient, patient-focused service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the administrative team, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance development.
  • Serve as the primary administrative liaison for physicians, supporting scheduling, onboarding, LibreMD EMR setup, and credentialing.
  • Manage clinic budgeting, financial reporting, billing accuracy, and vendor payments.
  • Optimize patient flow and scheduling to improve productivity and reduce wait times.
  • Maintain compliance with provincial regulations, privacy laws, and clinic policies.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and respond to patient feedback to enhance satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, office supplies, and clinic equipment maintenance.
  • Act as the primary LibreMD EMR administrator, managing access, templates, workflows, and system updates.
  • Prepare operational and financial reports for leadership and support strategic planning.
  • Contribute to new program implementation and other duties as assigned by Clinic Directors.

Requirements


  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare management or medical office administration.
  • Proven leadership experience managing administrative teams in a clinical setting.
  • Strong organizational, financial, and operational management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Canadian EMR systems, including LibreMD.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
  • Familiarity with Manitoba physician billing processes is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
