Job description
Want to build a long-term career? A busy local facility is hiring someone to learn the trade, with great opportunities to move up within the company!

Pay & Shift
Pay Rate: $19.43 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Start Date: Immediate (Right away)

Requirements
Transportation: Must have your own reliable vehicle to get to work.

Experience: Some past factory or manufacturing experience is required.

Reliability: Excellent attendance and punctuality so you don't keep the previous shift waiting.

What You’ll Do
Help Out: Assist main machine operators with production and moving materials.

Learn the Trade: Train on production equipment safely to build your skills.

Teamwork: Work closely with a great crew to hit daily goals.

Advantages
Schedule: 12-hour rotational shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to:
-Following the required company SOP’s, Procedures and Health & Safety Standards in order to maintain an efficient and safe working environment.
-Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment to extrusion operator/team lead.
-Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with production team leader/ operators
-Carrying out other associated duties as directed by Management and the Production Team Leader
-Ensure that all materials are handled, sorted and used in accordance with Work Place Hazardous Materials Information Systems (WHIMIS).
-Palletize all products as needed
-Ensuring PPE is worn always necessary

Qualifications
Qualifications we would like to see:

-6 months or more of experience in a manufacturing setting
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
-Must be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs
