In this role you will support daily logistics, efficient movement and storage of product from warehouse to customer

• Plans and supervises efficient receipt, storage and distribution of supplies, specialty items, and equipment in central warehouse
• Complies data and provide analysis related to shipping and warehouse efficiencies. Submits reports on damages, outdated stock or supplies, over and under shipments, return of goods to vendor, etc.
• Scheduling and tracking movement of railcar and container shipments daily
• Directs the day-to-day activities of a central warehouse facility including shipping and receiving of orders
• Coordinate OS&D and returns with outside warehouses and the customer service group.
• Communicate with the supply chain and production team as well as third party warehouses to advise of priorities, bottle necks, concerns and be proactive in management of inventory volume and space available.
• Ensure proper segregation and identification of materials
• Traces incoming railcar and container shipments and trouble-shoots where necessary with transport agencies.
• Ensure cleanliness of area and efficient flow of products
• Responsible to order pallets and track inventory on a regular basis
• Responsible to coordinate on site storage trailers along with our fumigation program
• Ability to backfill for both logistics and shipping / receiving coordinator
• Support and assist Logistics Manager as well as supply chain coworkers as needed.
• Develops and implements storage systems, policies and procedures to obtain maximum use of space and storage areas
• Steady day shift 7 : 30-4 : 00 with some flexibility for a few extra hours as needed. Only 4-6 drivers to manage. 65-75k. Benefits immediately.
