In this role, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists, engage directly with clients, and guide the delivery of complex treatment solutions that make a measurable difference to industry and communities.

Your Impact

  • Lead process engineering for water treatment projects-from concept through commissioning-advancing performance, compliance, and long-term sustainability.
  • Deliver process design work including mass balances, hydraulic assessments, equipment sizing, and treatment technology selection to support project decisions and client outcomes.
  • Provide oversight as Project Manager or Engineer-of-Record to ensure safe, high-quality, on-time, on-budget project delivery.
  • Collaborate with water treatment, mining, geochemistry, and environmental colleagues across Canada and North America to integrate solutions that address complex site challenges.
  • Drive proposal development and client engagement, shaping scopes of work and building opportunities that expand our impact and strengthen relationships.
  • Mentor and support junior and intermediate engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning, technical excellence, and shared purpose.

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in a Canadian province, with demonstrated accountability for technical decisions and project leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams while driving clarity, alignment, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Advanced capability with water / process modelling tools such as HYSIM / HYSIS, OLI, or Wave.
  • Experience in metallurgy, commissioning, pilot testing, or operational support considered an asset.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with clients, shaping scopes, and positioning teams for success in complex pursuits.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites and client locations as required.
  • Why Choose WSP?
