Position Title- Integration LeadLocation- Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid)Job Summary – The EDI Integration Lead is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This position involves collaborating with various internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless data exchange. The EDI Integration Lead will drive the design, development, and deployment of EDI solutions to improve business processes and achieve operational excellenceYears of experience needed – 7+ year. Technical Skills : Lead and mentor a team of API Gateway developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.Proficiency in EDI Standards and Protocols : In-depth knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML, as well as communication protocols like AS2, FTP, and HTTP / S.Experience with EDI Mapping and Translation Tools : Expertise in using EDI mapping and translation software, such as GXS, Sterling Integrator, or BizTalk, to convert and map data between different formats.Database Management : Strong understanding of database management systems, including SQL, to manage and manipulate data within EDI transactions.Knowledge of ERP Systems : Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, to integrate EDI solutions with existing enterprise systems.Programming Skills : Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, to develop custom EDI solutions and scripts.Network and Security : Solid understanding of network architecture and security principles to ensure secure and efficient data exchange.Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze complex data and troubleshoot issues related to EDI transactions and systems.Project Management : Strong project management skills to oversee EDI integration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.Attention to Detail : Keen attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity in all EDI transactions.Communication and Collaboration : Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear understanding and successful implementation of EDI requirementsQualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications in EDI or related technologies is preferred.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI integration, with a proven track record of successfully leading EDI projects.Technical Skills : Proficiency in EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), EDI mapping and translation tools, and EDI communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP). Knowledge of ERP systems and integration platforms is highly desirable.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organizational and time management skills.
