Job descriptionAssist in the planning and execution of capital projects, including coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. Monitor project schedules and milestones, ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables. Track and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any risks or delays. Support the Manager, Engineering & Innovation in tracking the capital budget for ongoing and upcoming projects. Assist with cost estimation, budget updates, and financial reporting. Act as a primary point of contact for customers regarding project timelines and expectations. Coordinate with customers to schedule activities such as service connections and maintenance outages. Address customer concerns and provide updates on project progress. Prepare project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Maintain accurate records of project activities and decisions. Support the development of project-related presentations and reports. Post-secondary education in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the utility or construction sectors. Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project management software. Familiarity with capital budgeting and financial tracking is an asset. A proactive, strategic thinker with strong organizational skills. A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative leadership style. Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholder groups and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
