Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Guelph, ON
Rate of Pay: $30.00 - $33.00/hour
Job Type: 4-Week Contract

Responsibilities
•Support the preparation of high-level financial reporting packages and year-end statements in a collaborative team setting.
•Facilitate informed decision-making for leadership by providing detailed financial analysis and operational support during budget planning.
•Execute daily accounting tasks including the creation of journal entries and the reconciliation of specific sub-ledgers.
•Contribute to the success of month-end and year-end close activities through rigorous account analysis.
•Coordinate directly with auditing professionals and various departments to streamline internal and external audit requirements.

Qualifications
• At least 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Previous accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to meet strict financial reporting deadlines while maintaining high work standards
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to work fully onsite in Guelph (5 days per week)
