Role
Athena Club is looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer (Shopify) to join our Engineering team remotely (or at our New York HQ). Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, this Team Member will bridge the gap between design and development, building beautiful, high-performance e-commerce experiences and utilizing AI tools to craft intuitive, pixel-perfect user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Build & Maintain : Develop custom Shopify themes and apps using Liquid, React, Node.js, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Design Engineering : Take high-fidelity designs and implement them with an obsession for detail, spacing, typography, and motion.
- AI-Driven Development : Utilize LLM-based coding tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.) to rapidly prototype, debug, and implement features.
- Full Stack Execution : Work on everything from front-end UI adjustments to back-end API integrations, obsessing over site speed and conversion rates.
