Alteo is looking for an IT Manager for a permanent position based in Montreal.

Working closely with the CIO, the IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure and ensuring the effective implementation and management of IT services. This role requires a strategic leader who can align IT goals with business objectives, enhance operational efficiency, and support innovation through technology.

Responsibilities :

Help create and execute the IT strategy and build effective initiatives that support the company goals

Manage and lead the IT Team by providing clear direction and objectives, support, mentoring and coaching

Establish performance objectives, KPI’s and targets

Oversee the maintenance and development of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networking, hardware, software, and cloud services

Ensure the security of IT systems and data, implementing best practices for data protection and compliance

Analyze and coordinate IT projects, create timelines, establish budgets and drive constant improvements

Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Engage with other managers to align IT strategy with business goals, demonstrating strong business acumen

Handle escalated support issues as required

Profile :

DEC / BAC in IT or equivalent

5-10+ years in IT roles

3+ years in a management position with a focus on networking, software, hardware, cloud, and systems infrastructure

Ability to align IT initiatives with business goals

Knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and compliance standards

A proactive and growth-oriented mindset, with a focus on promoting and fostering internal talent

Flexibility to respond to changing technology and business needs, with the ability to identify these needs and implement improvements

Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders

Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Profil :

DEC / BAC en informatique ou équivalent

3+ années dans un poste de gestion avec un accent sur le réseau, le logiciel, le matériel, le nuage et l'infrastructure des systèmes.

Capacité à aligner les initiatives informatiques sur les objectifs de l'entreprise

Connaissance des protocoles de sécurité, de la gestion des risques et des normes de conformité
