About the Role
Our Client is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support Technology Procurement initiatives for Court Technology Services. This role focuses on delivering fair, transparent, and efficient procurement processes while supporting large-scale government technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement and contracting documentation to support open and compliant procurement processes
  • Prepare recommendations outlining resource needs, dependencies, risks, and procurement methodologies
  • Package procurement deliverables for review by internal teams, steering committees, and stakeholders
  • Manage procurement activities across multiple projects and governance frameworks
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define project scope, timelines, risks, and budgets
  • Track and report project status, milestones, and procurement deliverables
  • Support development of project schedules, resource plans, and work strategies
  • Provide guidance to project teams to ensure timely delivery of procurement-related tasks

Must-Have Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Commerce, Public Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in complex competitive procurement
  • 8+ years experience in contract drafting and contract management
  • 8+ years experience advising stakeholders in procurement processes
  • 8+ years experience with Canadian public sector procurement
  • 7+ years experience working with government trade agreements

Nice to Have

  • Procurement certifications such as SCMP, CPPB, CPPO, or CSPM
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience in financial analysis and risk assessment
  • Experience with IT or technology procurement
