Job description

Your Opportunity:

Your opportunity as a Microsoft Fabric Developer is to design, build, and optimizes modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric to support enterprise reporting, advanced analytics, and data driven decision making. This role focuses on developing scalable data pipelines, curated semantic models, and analytical assets that integrate data from multiple sources into a unified, governed analytics platform. Working closely with data engineers, BI developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, the developer delivers secure, high performing, and reliable analytics solutions. The role leverages Microsoft Fabric capabilities including Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Warehousing, Power BI, and Real Time Analytics to enable end to end data workflows aligned with organizational standards and business objectives. Projects are delivered end to end, from data integration and modeling through report design, deployment, and optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Microsoft’s data and analytics ecosystem, a solid understanding of data modeling and ELT/ETL patterns, and a deep knowledge of Power BI semantic modeling, visualization, and best practices. This position requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work with minimal supervision and a collaborative mindset to partner with cross functional teams and deliver high quality business intelligence solutions that support informed decision making.

Description:

As an IT Analyst II, you will provide technical support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, telecom or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyse the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with Power BI, including dataset development and performance optimization, with data integration concepts, ELT/ETL patterns, and pipeline orchestration. Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Experience working in cross functional teams within enterprise or complex data environments. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Well organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience developing analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric or closely related Microsoft data platforms. Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts (, dimensional modeling, star schemas, semantic models), with proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming data.
