Salary: $110,000 – $118,000 /annually (plus benefits)
Position Summary
The Associate, IT Director oversees Tessitura and related enterprise applications that support Ticketing, E-commerce, Fundraising, Marketing, Outreach and Audience Services. This role also manages internal collaboration platforms, including SharePoint Online, and leads the responsible use of AI and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
Will work closely with senior members of Development, Sales, Marketing, Outreach, Finance and Creative Management to ensure that core applications support our mission: making theatre accessible, engaging and inspiring for our community.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as organizational lead for Tessitura, including ticketing, fundraising, analytics, reporting, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
• Oversees and collaborates with Senior Developer.
• Partner with Sales, Development, Outreach and Marketing teams to optimize workflows, on-sales, pricing, segmentation, analytics and reporting.
• Manage integrations between Tessitura and web, marketing, financial, and analytics platforms.
• Lead the creation and governance of SharePoint Online sites, including intranet and departmental sites, permissions, content standards and project workflows.
• Evaluate and implement approved AI and automation tools to improve reporting, data quality, and internal knowledge management, with appropriate governance and oversight.
• Lead software-related projects, documentation, training, and cross-departmental support.
• Ensure data integrity, security, privacy, and compliance with organizational standards.
Qualifications
• Post secondary education in computer science or business.
• 8+ years of technical experience with Tessitura, TNEW, APIs, and integrations.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of SQL, SSRS.
• Experience maintaining SharePoint sites, including permissions and content structure.
• Proven project management and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
• Collaborative, service-oriented leadership style.
Preferred
• Excellent communications skills, ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 automation or AI tools.
• Experience working in a performing arts organization.
• Willing to travel out of country to attend conferences and training.
• Must be willing to provide after hours support.
