Job Description
Little KINlings Daycare Centre is seeking applications for an energetic, enthusiastic, creative, self-motivated Early Childhood Educator with Infant / Toddler certification for our nature-based Infant / Toddler program. The successful candidate will train with our ECE I / T Manager, organizing and implementing a dynamic nature-based daycare program that encourages a holistic view of child development.
Responsibilities :
- Alongside manager plan and implement dynamic programming.
- Ensure the safety of all children
- Assume overall responsibility for program tools, toys, and equipment, to include safety, use, and maintenance.
- Plan, prepare, and co-create seasonal activities and projects utilizing natural materials.
- Attend staff meetings and parent meetings as needed.
- Communicate with parents effectively, in person, or through the Lillio Daycare App.
- Be physically capable of performing teaching duties with enthusiasm regardless of the weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat).
- Support the benefits of risk taking, movement, and physical development in the early years.
