Are you eager and excited to start a new job as a Inventory Clerk? Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences (embroidery, labels, and adhesives).

Position Summary: The PPG Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in the VLM (Vertical Lift Module) receiving and inventory management pipeline. The primary focus of this role is the accurate data entry, logging, and transferring of approved components into the PPG system.


Pay Rate: $21/h
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:55am - 4:25pm
Location: Gurney Crescent, North York


We are currently hiring for an inventory clerk for a 3-month contract with a possibility for extension and even full-time for the right candidate. If you are a student on an academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do hands-on factory work, we can hire you!
Operating within a high-volume warehouse environment, this position requires extreme attention to detail, strict compliance with system location protocols to prevent inventory discrepancies, and a strong sense of personal accountability.

Responsibilites:

● System Proficiency: Proven experience working with digital inventory tracking systems (PPG or equivalent) and Google Workspace (Google Sheets / Excel).
● Review Google Sheet logs and incoming packing slips from the shipping area to prepare for data logging (a process that can range from 30 minutes to 5 hours per PO depending on component volume).
● Input precise component data into PPG immediately following Google Space Chat approvals from the QA team.
● Work collaboratively with the VLM storage team to communicate stock availability, coordinate slow-moving item placement, and assist in adjusting PPG quantities versus overstock based on tray constraints during refills. Flag and record any discrepancies discovered between physical counts, packing slips,
and PPG system numbers, reporting them immediately to the purchasing team.

Qualifications
● Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:55 AM to 4:25PM.
● System Proficiency: Proven experience working with digital inventory tracking systems (PPG or equivalent) and Google Workspace (Google Sheets / Excel).
● Attention to Detail: Ability to input high volumes of complex data (styles, numbers, sizes, and component quantities) with zero errors.
● Patience & Problem Solving: Resilience and focus when operating slow-to-operate
software systems under tight daily timelines.
● Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate across teams via digital communication tools (Space Chat) and directly with VLM supervisors.
● Accountability: A strong understanding of inventory control principles and a commitment to maintaining a transparent, accurate data audit trail.
