Job description

Key Responsibilities

:

Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Lead and support projects to enhance supply chain, inventory planning systems, tools, and processes
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements across inventory workflows
  • Develop and refine forecasting methodologies and scenario models

Data & Analytics

  • Improve reporting and KPIs with advanced data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Work with large datasets to develop insights that support smarter planning decisions
  • Provide technical support for data-related tasks, including light programming or scripting as needed

Collaboration & Execution

  • Collaborate with supply chain leadership, inventory planning, procurement, finance and IT to align on project goals and delivery
  • Lead change management initiatives within the supply chain and inventory planning functions, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and organizational changes through clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and training.
  • Contribute to other supply chain improvement initiatives as required

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain analytics, within a retail, consumer goods, or manufacturing and distribution environment
  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Technology or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • Professional designation (e.g., APICS/CSCP, CPIM, or SCMP) is considered an asset.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to link data to business outcomes
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills
  • Experience with programming/scripting (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) an asset for building advanced models, automating reports and enhancing data workflows
  • Familiarity with forecasting tools, inventory systems, and/or ERP software
  • Experience developing and implementing new tools and processes that enhance supply chain planning, visibility and decision making
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • A self-starter mindset and a passion for using data to solve complex problems

Salary Range: 95k depending on experience
