Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Team Lead for our client, in Edmonton, AB. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills and hands-on material handling experience to join a fast-paced distribution environment.
You will support daily warehouse operations while providing leadership, training, and guidance to warehouse associates. This role requires extensive warehouse experience, strong inventory control knowledge, and proven experience operating a Crown Reach Truck and other warehouse equipment.

  • Pay Rate: $24 to $25/hour
  • Location: NW Edmonton, AB | Access to your own reliable transportation is required as the site is not transit accessible
  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and support warehouse associates during daily operations
  • Provide direction, training, and support throughout the shift
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
  • Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment
  • Act as the first point of contact for warehouse staff

Warehouse Operations

  • Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize warehouse activities
  • Support receiving, order picking, packing, shipping, loading, and replenishment functions
  • Ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Complete warehouse documentation, including shipping records, receiving documents, inventory adjustments, and pick sheets
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies

Equipment Operation

  • Safely operate Crown Reach Trucks, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Order Pickers, Power Jacks, Warehouse Scanners and Related Equipment
  • Retrieve and store inventory in high-rack locations
  • Perform manual loading and unloading activities as required

Inventory & Quality Control

  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
  • Support stock replenishment activities
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and compliance with warehouse procedures
  • Ensure quality and regulatory requirements are met

Safety & Continuous Improvement

  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable ISO, GMP, and GxP requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous Warehouse Team Lead, Lead Hand, or Supervisory experience
  • Strong experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, and distribution
  • Proven experience operating a Crown Reach Truck in a high-volume warehouse environment
  • Valid Forklift Certification required
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and warehouse best practices
  • Ability to train, mentor, and support team members
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding warehouse work
  • Comfortable standing, bending, reaching, and twisting throughout the shift
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
