Position Summary Technicut Tool (TCT) is seeking a Tool Crib Technician for our Windsor, Ontario location . If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start!
- This position works Monday thru Friday from 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm.
The pay range for this position is between $22.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience
Procure and track tooling inventory and storage logs for all cutting tool, fixturing, and customer owned hardware within the facility ensuring min / max levels are kept standard.
Participate and lead discussions with Manufacturing Engineers and Planner(s) to fulfill all tooling requirements.
Perform necessary tooling maintenance to include cleaning holders, vices, collets, etc.
Disposition damaged tooling when required.
Analyzes, procures, and oversees procurement processes for manufacturing tool products and services.
Evaluate and recommend proper tooling life cycle and best practices including the removal of obsolete inventory.
Champion continuous improvement and recommend new technologies and technical advances to improve tool systems and performance.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills High School Diploma or GED preferred.
3+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment, directly in machining preferred.
Understanding of CNC tools, gauges, and inventory practices.
