Job Description

What you will be doing:

• Ensure smooth operation of the Restaurant
• Greet and seat guests
• Provide concierge service to guests
• Other duties as assigned
• Hourly pay rate of $23.54 to $26.90

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• A minimum of one (1) year recent experience (in the last five years) as a server or host in an “a la carte” dining setting in an upscale, high volume restaurant "Serving It Right" and “Food Safe” Certification
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
• Completely fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
• Clear, precise, professional and helpful telephone manner
• Knowledge of organizing reservations and service flows
• Driven and focused on maximizing capacities
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritise
• High level of responsibility and commitment
• Team player with proven success in relationship building
• Commitment to providing excellent service and exceeding guests' expectations
• Comprehensive and current knowledge of local attractions, events, restaurants and transportation information
• Ability to anticipate guest needs
• Experience with OpenTable is considered an asset

Additional Information

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking
• Frequent bending and kneeling
• Constantcarrying and lifting up to 20lbs
• Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
