Job descriptionYou will have a university degree, preferably with a Masters in Geography, GIS, or a related field of study. You will have 3-5 years of relevant work experience. You will have expert knowledge of GIS software, such as QGIS, MapInfo, ArcGIS, and Google Maps / Earth. You will have strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and R, or other similar industry-standard tools used for large-scale data analysis and modeling. A flexible / hybrid work environment. About the Role
This exciting opportunity is a chance to work as an Insights Analyst GIS , supporting the Market Development Director and the broader Real Estate Development Team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing geospatial analyses, market planning, and site selection strategies.
Your Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop new enhancements that will be implemented into our SaaS cloud-based mapping platform, SitewisePro.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain brand and region-specific statistical and spatially enabled sales analog models.
- Design, develop, and standardize brand-specific new market development plans (3-5 years outlook).
- Maintain and enhance the existing Smartsheets NSO / Construction / Renovations Project Management Tool.
