Job descriptionResume & Showreel / Portfolio review Test(s) if any Interview(s) Offer Develop and maintain backend systems for various in‑game features. Collaborate closely with game designers to design and implement core gameplay systems. Optimize and enhance existing server architecture to improve performance and ensure long‑term stability. Maintain high code quality standards, ensuring readability, scalability, and reusability. Develop and maintain backend tools to improve development efficiency. Perform other related tasks. Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development for online or mobile games. Proven experience with large‑scale strategy (SLG) game projects is a strong asset. Proficient in C++ with solid understanding of network communication and multithreaded programming. Hands‑on experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or other major databases. Familiarity with distributed systems and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimize related challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage stress and work effectively in a team‑oriented environment. IGG Canada is a division of IGG (I Got Games), a global interactive digital entertainment company that specializes in the development and operation of Mobile Games.
