Job description
We are looking for a General Labour to join our client's facility located in Maple Ridge, BC on a full time basis.

The new facility located in Maple Ridge, BC is growing quicker then ever and we have an excellent opportunity for General Labour to join our incredible team. Your responsibilities will include fabricating fiberglass, piping spool and tank, use different hand tools and machines on site such as grinders, chop saws, welding machines. The ideal candidate for this role would bring experience in carpentry or construction, proficiency and dexterity with hand tools and represents our brand proudly while adhering to all safety protocols.


What you need to know:
This is a full-time, temporary to permanent opportunity
Location: Maple Ridge, BC
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift time: 8:00AM-4:30PM
Salary: $22-$25/H based on experience

This position requires you to have a reliable vehicle as the location is not transit accessible
You are comfortable working around materials such as Resin
You bring experience in similar or like minded facilities
You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located near the Maple Ridge region

Responsibilities
- Assist in cutting, measuring, and staging fiberglass.
- Safely transport and assist in mixing resins and adhesives per exact work instructions.
- Feed/unload machinery and help operators with lay-ups, curing processes, and tooling preparation.
- Trim, sand, and grind excess laminate from finished products using hand and pneumatic tools.
- Efficient and safe use of hand and power tools such as grinders, chop saws, drill press, fusion machinery, heat guns
- Efficient and safe operation of production equipment and machinery (Training Provided)
- Quality assurance and inspection of all finished products
- Prepare finished products for shipping and distribution
- Adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications
- A reliable vehicle is required for this role as location is not transit accessible
- Previous experience in a like minded facility is an asset
- You are comfortable working around materials such as Resin
- Ability to perform manual (hands-on) work that requires good dexterity and coordination skills.
- You are comfortable working around the smell of Resin with PPE provided to support (mask, coveralls)
- Ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies up to 50lbs
- CSA approved steel toe boots

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
