Job description
Randstad is currently recruiting Production Workers on behalf of our premier client, located on Annacis Island, BC.

What You’ll Do:

• Work on automated baking lines, assisting with dough processing, baking, or packaging.
• Inspect finished baked goods to ensure high quality and standard specs.
• Pack, box, and label finished products for shipping.
• Clean and sanitize machinery and work areas according to food safety (GMP) standards.
• Report any product or machinery issues to team leads.

Location: Annacis Island – Delta, BC
Pay Rate: $22.61/hour
Schedule: Rotating 2 week schedule
• Week 1 = Sunday to Wednesday
• Week 2 = Sunday to Tuesday
Shift Times Available: 6AM - 6PM or 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Environment: Fast-paced, food-safe manufacturing plant

Responsibilities
• Operate Machinery: Run packaging tools (baggers, forkers, dividers) and work on automated baking lines (dough processing, baking, or packaging).
• Inspect & Pack: Check product quality, remove bad items, and pack, box, and label finished goods according to spec.
• Food Safety & Monitoring: Operate metal detectors, keep required logs, and follow strict food safety guidelines (GMPs).
• Fix & Report Delays: Clear minor machine jams quickly and report equipment or quality issues to team leads and supervisors.
• Material Handling: Stack trays, palletize boxes, and restock supplies on the production line.
• Sanitation & Cleaning: Sweep, sanitize machinery and work areas, remove waste, and assist with plant cleanups during line stops.

Qualifications
• Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehousing (preferred, but training is provided).
• Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warm environment
• Strong focus on workplace safety, food hygiene, and quality control.
• Clear communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Steel toed safery shoes required
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
