Are you an organized, driven, and highly analytical professional looking to elevate your career in the dynamic world of supply chain management? Randstad, a global leader in talent solutions, is partnering with an exceptional organization in the consumer goods industry to find a dedicated Procurement & Logistics Coordinator in Winnipeg.

In your capacity as a Procurement & Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as the critical link between the Procurement, Sales, and Production teams. Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Sales, your primary focus will be the meticulous planning and administration required to coordinate product movement and transportation. This is a fast-paced role that demands a strong sense of urgency, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Within the manufacturing & logistics space, coordinators like you are the engine that keeps business operations running smoothly

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the VP of Sales and Procurement Coordinator(s) to purchase product based on previously agreed upon pricing and terms.
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of goods to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.
- Track shipments and resolve any delays or logistical issues proactively.
- Source transportation providers and negotiate freight options to maximize efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Maintain and manage freight related to purchase orders and transfers on the internal ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal customers.
- Create shipping documents and process transactions for Canada, the US, and international borders.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to resolve supply chain delays.
- Proficiency in utilizing internal ERP systems and data management tools.
- Excellent negotiation skills and sense of urgency.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong aptitude for working within Microsoft 365 and related business software.
