Position Overview: Armour Transportation is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team! As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of equipment and freight while maintaining clear communication with drivers and internal teams.

Location: St. John's, NL
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with departments, terminals, and customers to eliminate barriers in the movement of equipment and freight.
Communicate effectively with drivers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork and information to complete their tasks successfully.
Support internal teams by addressing special circumstances and ensuring planning and revenue considerations are accounted for.
Additional terminal specific duties as required.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and capable of making analytical decisions.
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide and communicate effectively with groups.
Analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to negotiate win-win solutions.

Key Skills:

Familiarity with the Truck Mate system is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create reports using Word and Excel.
Strong typing and computer skills.

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced environment.
High volume of communication with customers and drivers via email, satellite, and phone.
