We have a great full time long term job opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician in Surrey! Work with a great team in a state of the art production facility!

You will maintain and perform repairs on all plant production and auxiliary equipment, ensuring that quality parts are being manufactured.

Duties include :

Ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and correction of hazardous conditions

Perform assigned mechanical maintenance jobs and / or projects to ensure accuracy and minimize breakdowns

Perform necessary mechanical repairs and / or adjustments as required so that production is not repeatedly interrupted, and quality parts are produced.

Effectively and efficiently performing repairs with respect to the following : electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing and welding, in a timely manner and minimizing breakdowns

Correcting trouble spots and overseeing recording in department logbooks when preventative maintenance and repair work is completed.

Following up on all maintenance repairs to ensure proper completion.

Requirements :

Must have experience working as a maintenance technician

Must be mechanically inclined

Must have experience and knowledge with of minor electrical repairs

Must have strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

Welding, millwright, tool and die maker, plumbing, heating experience etc. would be an asset

Pay rate : 28-30 / hour
