About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and measuring the profit and loss (P&L) for our vendor line. Responsible for forecasting, inventory analysis, and vendor relationship management. Identifies and understand the Vendor’s needs and strategic objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing market data to identify trends and business growth opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • Manages vendor relationships at numerous levels and serves as the main point of contact for vendors, maintaining open lines of communication. Continuously monitors and assesses the financial performance of the vendor line and makes recommendations for improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth potential.

  • Responsible for incremental funding proposals at the vendor level as well as meeting/exceeding monthly revenues, net gross margin percentages and gross margin dollars.

  • Develops accurate and comprehensive forecasts for vendor products or services and analyzes inventory levels and make recommendations to optimize stock availability and minimize carrying costs.

  • Collaborates with procurement and supply chain teams to implement effective inventory management strategies.

  • Acts as the primary operational escalation point for vendor lines and proactively identify and resolve operational challenges or bottlenecks.

  • Collaborates with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

  • Meets and interacts regularly with Vendor Partner reps, management, and executives to make formal presentations on product trends, performance, profitability and results of product line promotions.

  • Conducts market research and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Will often develop detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

  • Stays updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales teams to support revenue growth and customer acquisition efforts.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, vendor partner relations within cybersecurity

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of marketing/product experience

  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

  • Capable of executing instructions and seeking clarification when needed

  • Proficiency with common office equipment and basic data entry skills

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations accurately

  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and efficiency

  • Clear and effective communication skills in English and other local/regional languages

  • Ability to interact effectively with high-level management

  • Skilled in creating and conducting formal presentations

  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills

  • Ability to understand, communicate, and collaborate across various identities

  • Adaptable to change and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Strong multitasking abilities and quick adaptation to new systems and technology

  • Proficiency with relevant computer systems and applications

Annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

  • Hiring Salary Range $ 82,000.00 - $95,000.00 CAD

  • Surveiller et évaluer en continu la performance financière des lignes de fournisseurs et formuler des recommandations visant l’amélioration, la réduction des coûts et la croissance des revenus.

  • Être responsable des propositions de financement incrémentiel au niveau des fournisseurs, ainsi que de l’atteinte ou du dépassement des objectifs mensuels de revenus, des pourcentages de marge brute nette et des dollars de marge brute.

  • Élaborer des prévisions précises et complètes pour les produits ou services des fournisseurs, analyser les niveaux d’inventaire et formuler des recommandations afin d’optimiser la disponibilité des stocks et de minimiser les coûts de possession.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes des achats et de la chaîne d’approvisionnement afin de mettre en œuvre des stratégies efficaces de gestion des stocks.

  • Agir comme principal point d’escalade opérationnelle pour les lignes de fournisseurs et identifier de façon proactive les défis ou les goulots d’étranglement opérationnels, puis les résoudre.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes internes et les fournisseurs afin d’assurer une résolution rapide des enjeux opérationnels.

  • Rencontrer régulièrement les représentant·e·s, la direction et les cadres des partenaires fournisseurs et effectuer des présentations formelles sur les tendances des produits, la performance, la rentabilité et les résultats des promotions de gammes de produits.

  • Effectuer des recherches de marché et analyser les données afin d’identifier les tendances, les occasions et le paysage concurrentiel. Préparer des rapports détaillés et des présentations pour communiquer les constats et recommandations.

  • Se tenir à jour quant aux tendances de l’industrie, aux activités des concurrents et aux préférences de la clientèle afin d’éclairer les décisions stratégiques.

  • Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes de ventes afin de soutenir la croissance des revenus et les initiatives d’acquisition de clients.

Ce que nous recherchons

  • De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de produits ou en gestion des relations avec des partenaires fournisseurs, idéalement dans le secteur de la cybersécurité

  • Baccalauréat souhaité ou expérience équivalente en marketing ou en gestion de produits

  • Grande capacité à maintenir la confidentialité des informations sensibles

  • Capacité à exécuter des directives et à demander des clarifications au besoin

  • Maîtrise de l’équipement de bureau courant et des compétences de base en saisie de données

La rémunération annuelle offerte sera déterminée en fonction de plusieurs facteurs, notamment la localisation géographique, l’expérience professionnelle, la formation, ainsi que les compétences et réalisations. Elle sera établie d’un commun accord au moment de l’offre.

Fourchette salariale à l’embauche : 82 000 $ à 95 000 $ CA
