Job description

Tasks

  • Managing the daily communications for the estimation department, including tracking emails and incoming requests.
  • Opening, organizing, and structuring bid files from receipt to final submission.
  • Coordinating schedules related to site visits, submission deadlines, and key stages of tenders.
  • Preparing, assembling, and distributing all required documentation (plans, forms, addenda, submission files).
  • Coordinating communications with subcontractors: sending invitations, follow-ups, receiving intent and submitted prices.
  • Managing and updating the estimation system, including exchanges and responses to subcontractors.
  • Compiling bid results, ensuring document compliance (bonds, insurance, certificates), and transmitting information to concerned partners.
  • Performing any other related tasks for the position.

Job requirements

  • DEP in secretarial studies, DEC/AEC in office management, or any other relevant training.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of the key stages and realities of the construction estimation process.
  • Comfortable with digital document management tools and bidding platforms.
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and maintain high-quality standards in task execution.
