Job description
Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, B.C. is seeking a permanent, full‑time Clinical Practice Educator to join the team. The successful candidate will bring recent acute care nursing experience and provide education, practice support, and clinical leadership to support high‑quality patient care within a dynamic acute care environment.

Shift Times: Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 16:23.

What will you work on?
The Clinical Practice Educator incorporates the core concepts of person and family-centered care (respect, dignity, information sharing, participation, and collaboration) and provides visible, accessible clinical support by acting as an education resource for staff in the clinical area(s). Using nursing & specialized theory and knowledge, develops, implements, and evaluates a range of formal/ informal educational programs and learning plans for direct care nursing staff, including individual and group learning assessments and opportunities. Consults, confers, and collaborates with others in the promotion of a quality practice & learning environment, continuous quality improvement, resolution of clinical education issues, and coordination of activities required for progressive educational and clinical practice programs. Takes supportive action with respect to individual and group learning needs as required. Integrates the nursing designation (RN, RPN, LPN) and area specific competencies into professional practice and education.
