Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob Description

This role involves spending 50% of your time operating a forklift and the other 50% engaging with an ERP system for manual picking and systematic transactions, eventually transitioning to RF scanning. You will work with ingredients stored in various temperature-controlled environments, including fridges, freezers, and warm rooms, and follow work orders to prepare for the next day. The position requires lifting 50lbs repeatedly during palletizing and involves shipping, receiving, and loading products onto trailers. You will also move raw materials and finished products to the shipping doors in the back warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts for material handling.
• Use ERP systems for manual picking and systematic transactions.
• Engage with RF scanning technology.
• Prepare work orders for the next day.
• Lift and palletize 50lbs repeatedly.
• Load products onto trailers for shipping and receiving.
• Move raw materials and finished products to shipping doors.
• Work in temperature-controlled environments including fridges and freezers.

Essential Skills

• Forklift and material handling experience.
• General labor skills including picking, loading, and unloading.
• ERP experience with inventory management.
• RF scanner operation.
• Pallet jack operation.
• Warehouse inventory management.
• Shipping and receiving experience.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
• Raymond Reach and walkie forklift certification with 6 months to 1 year of experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• GMP experience.
• AZ license is a plus.

Work Environment

The facility produces granola bars and contains nuts, so candidates cannot have peanut allergies. The warehouse is attached to the production floor, and the environment requires safety awareness due to tighter aisles. PPE includes a long-sleeved lab coat, hair net, steel toe shoes, gloves, and no jewelry. The facility can be warm in the summer but is otherwise temperature-controlled. Shift hours include a second shift from 3pm-11pm, a third shift from 11pm-7am, and a hybrid shift from 10am-6:30pm at a separate location.
