Job description

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Do you have experience with food handling?

A major food production facility and distributor in Victoria are looking for Production workers and Meat and Seafood Processors to join their friendly crew!

MEAT / SEAFOOD PROCESSOR

Opportunity : Full time, temporary to permanent position

Location : Central Saanich - transit accessible

Hours : Monday-Friday, early, daytime, and graveyard shifts available!

Pay rate : $18 / hour+

Start : ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Processing of meat and / or seafood ready for packing
  • Cutting and trimming meat / seafood cuts
  • Boxing of products
  • Organising and checking deliveries
  • Ensuring safety and cleanliness procedures are followed
  • Qualifications

  • Prep cook or grocery meat or fish department experience is an asset
  • Understands weights and measures
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and stay productive and results-oriented throughout the shift
