Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. We’re looking for someone to join our growing team as a Claims Assistant II, Legal Support in our National Document Team. This team will be responsible for gathering, vetting and renaming documents from claims and transferring to the legal team.
As a Claims Assistant II, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Claims and Legal teams. This is a multi-line role, offering opportunity to interface with a wide variety of centers of excellence within the operation. You will provide quality service and ensure prompt and professional execution of your duties, in line with Corporate policies and standards.
What you’ll do here:
- Responsible to access relevant claims systems to retrieve documents
- Vet, organize and rename documents to save them into the legal document management system for the review of the legal team
- Remove duplication of document(s) if applicable
- Communicate with claims and legal team members when documents are ready for review
- Adhere and meet service level agreements
- Identify process improvements to management
What you bring to the table:
- High School or College Diploma including business/administration training or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years or more of related work experience within an administrative or clerical function; preferably in a legal environment.
- Exceptional time management and detail oriented abilities at a superior level
- High attention to detail with accuracy and volume of work completed
- Effective communications skills with an emphasis on ability to adhere to deadlines and meet SLA
- Strong computer skills or training with standard office applications
- At a high level, ability to identify, interpret and organize documents
- Ability to multi-task and understand prioritization within a fast pace environment
