Job description

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join a growing team in Woodstock, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional with an electrical or engineering background who is looking to build their project management experience and grow toward a Project Manager role.

The successful candidate will support engineering, installation, service, and customer projects while developing hands-on experience with technical drawings, EV charging infrastructure, and project coordination.

Location: Woodstock, ON
Pay Rate: $25.00–$30.00/hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch
Work Environment: Primarily office-based with flexibility for field visits

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and site layouts using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or SketchUp
  • Review engineer documentation and provide technical drafting support
  • Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to support project completion
  • Review electrical capacity and requirements in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
  • Manage smaller projects independently as experience develops
  • Remotely monitor and diagnose EV chargers
  • Log service tickets and troubleshoot equipment faults
  • Coordinate replacement parts and related logistics
  • Dispatch technicians and coordinate service requests
  • Communicate with customers and follow issues through to resolution
  • Attend field sites as required

Qualifications

  • Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant electrical trade background will also be considered
  • New graduates with strong technical abilities are encouraged to apply
  • Experience creating or modifying electrical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and panel layouts
  • Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code is an asset
  • Experience or knowledge within the transportation or EV industry is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Comfortable learning and working with new technologies
  • Valid Ontario driver's licence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
