Job description

By submitting this application, I acknowledge that most Popeyes® restaurants are independently owned and operated by franchisees. In this regard, I understand that I may be applying to a Popeyes® restaurant owned by a franchisee, and that any hiring decisions will be made by the franchisee. Accommodation is available upon request.

Company Information

Founded in 1972, Popeyes® has more than 40 years of history and culinary tradition. Popeyes® owes its beginnings to entrepreneur and culinary innovator, Al Copeland. With one small restaurant and a big idea, Copeland introduced the New Orleans–style fried chicken that has now made the brand famous throughout the world. Popeyes® culinary heritage is built upon the rich Cajun and creole flavor profiles that are unmistakably Louisiana.

Why You Should Be Part of Our Team

As a Team Member at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, you'll be the heart of our restaurant, providing exceptional service and ensuring every guest has a great experience. You'll be responsible for greeting guests with a smile, accurately taking and preparing orders, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. From handling food preparation to working at various stations like the drive-thru and front counter, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure our high standards are always met. • Work efficiently to maintain speed of service, especially during busy periods.

  • Be adaptable and work across various stations (e.g., Batter/Fry Sides Station, Prep Station, Packager Station, Front Counter, Lobby Area, Drive-Thru).

  • Ensure all products meet company standards and comply with health, safety, fire, security, and hygiene regulations.

  • Report any hazards or concerns to the manager on duty immediately.

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Friendly, customer-focused attitude.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and cleanliness.

  • Previous experience in Quick Service is a plus, but not required.
