Job description

About Athos

Athos is one of Canada’s leading providers of funeral, cemetery, cremation, and memorial services. Our mission is to provide families with an exceptional experience, supported by digital solutions that improve how we work and serve our communities.

As part of the implementation of HubSpot as our enterprise CRM, we are seeking a professional who will oversee the platform, support users, and optimize business processes to maximize its value.

Position Summary

As Athos’s internal HubSpot expert and primary system administrator, you will oversee the administration, optimization, and continuous evolution of the CRM. You will support the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations teams through automation, reporting, training, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Administration and Governance

  • Administer HubSpot, including users, permissions, pipelines, objects, properties, forms, and hubs;
  • Ensure platform governance, security, stability, and documentation;
  • Coordinate updates, testing, and deployments, while managing and prioritizing enhancement requests;
  • Act as the primary contact for HubSpot, implementation partners, and technology vendors.

User Support, Training, and Adoption

  • Provide first- and second-level support and coordinate incident resolution;
  • Develop training sessions, workshops, guides, procedures, and knowledge-base content;
  • Support users, monitor adoption, and translate their needs into practical system improvements.

Marketing Operations

  • Configure, test, and deploy email campaigns, forms, landing pages, calls to action, and templates;
  • Manage segmentation, targeting, lead-nurturing programs, customer journeys, lead-scoring models, and assignment rules;
  • Conduct quality-assurance reviews and manage subscription preferences in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and applicable privacy laws.

Marketing strategy, copywriting, graphic design, SEO, and campaign planning remain the responsibility of the Marketing team. This position is responsible for the technical execution, automation, and optimization of campaigns in HubSpot.

Automation, Reporting, and Data

  • Design scalable workflows and recommend process improvements;
  • Create dashboards, reports, and KPIs for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations;
  • Analyze campaign performance, CRM usage, and business data to support decision-making;
  • Maintain data quality through imports, exports, deduplication, cleansing, migration, and issue resolution.

Integrations and Continuous Improvement

  • Support integrations between HubSpot and other business systems in collaboration with IT and external partners;
  • Participate in testing and deployments and maintain technical documentation;
  • Monitor HubSpot developments, assess relevant features, and maintain the CRM roadmap.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience administering a CRM or business system;
  • Experience with HubSpot or another recognized CRM, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Zoho CRM;
  • Experience with user support and training, automation, reporting, and automated marketing campaigns;
  • Ability to learn new technology platforms quickly;
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills;
  • Strong commitment to internal customer service.

Assets

  • Hands-on HubSpot administration experience and HubSpot certifications;
  • Experience participating in a CRM implementation or migration;
  • Experience in Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations;
  • Knowledge of integrations, APIs, or tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau;
  • Experience in change management and user adoption.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have established yourself as Athos’s HubSpot expert, strengthened CRM adoption, implemented effective processes and automations, developed useful management dashboards, and maintained a reliable, well-governed database.

Why Join Athos?

At Athos, digital technology plays a strategic role in our growth and in improving the experience we provide to families. You will contribute directly to this transformation, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a tangible impact on how we work and serve our clients.

If you enjoy solving problems, supporting users, and advancing technology, we would like to meet you.
