Our client, a prominent leader in the North American financial services and insurance sector, is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive technological initiatives supporting enterprise corporate operations. In this role, you will lead high-priority IT delivery initiatives focused on risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance. Operating within a modern hybrid model, you will play a central role in organizing cross-functional project teams, guiding agile practices, and translating strategic roadmaps into operational realities.

Responsibilities
Initiative Scoping & Planning: Lead the early definition, scoping, and architectural alignment of complex corporate IT initiatives.

Delivery & Governance: Oversee end-to-end implementation timelines, establish governance frameworks, and maintain long-term rolling roadmaps.

Agile Facilitation: Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, manage backlog prioritization in Azure DevOps, and address delivery impediments using Lean problem-solving tools.

Resource & Financial Tracking: Maintain accurate resource forecasts, track effort variance, and report on budget utilization.

Stakeholder & Vendor Liaison: Conduct executive-level status reporting, lead procurement RFP processes, and coordinate integration with third-party software vendors.

Operational Readiness: Coordinate release planning, audit compliance, access reviews, and post-implementation reviews.

Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an IT Project Manager or Scrum Master within complex enterprise technology environments.

Methodological Expertise: Strong proficiency with Agile/Scrum practices, Lean continuous improvement, and tools such as Azure DevOps.

Leadership & Influence: Proven political acumen, exceptional critical thinking, and a strong track record of driving cross-functional alignment.

Asset Expertise: Prior exposure to corporate risk, governance, or compliance domains, as well as industry credentials (PMP, PMI-ACP, PSM I, or SAFe RTE).

Language Proficiency: Fluent in French (spoken and written) and functional in English.

Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
