Through continuous innovation and a dedicated focus on scientific and technical excellence, we strive to develop and launch new, groundbreaking treatments that address critical health challenges.

Job Purpose

You will represent medical science in a field-based 12-month contract role dedicated to Ontario, with the possibility to extend. As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in GSK Vaccines Medical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of GSK’s products across our Vaccines and Respiratory portfolios through scientific dialogue and collaboration. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, external experts, and internal teams to share insights, provide education, and contribute to GSK’s mission of getting ahead of disease together. This field-based role offers opportunities for professional growth, impactful work, and the chance to make a difference in the lives of patients in Canada. • Be agile and adaptable to engage and provide value across a continuum of both internal and external stakeholders (i.e., primary care and respiratory experts and other healthcare professionals, investigators, medical societies and organizations, advocacy groups, etc.) in a non-promotional manner and be responsive to unsolicited inquires.
  • Be a proactive and solutions-oriented partner as the primary interface between the healthcare community and the internal cross-functional GSK teams to gather and share back insights that inform current and future business strategies.
  • Represent GSK at scientific congresses by providing session/abstract coverage, booth staffing coverage, leading external expert engagements and contributing to congress summaries/share-backs as required.
  • Provide scientific training for GSK commercial team regarding GSK products and the conditions they treat utilizing approved training materials.
  • Assist the office based Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research and Clinical Development and Operation teams for Investigator Initiated Studies and other evidence generation projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a Medical or Life science field (e.g., Masters, PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
