Job description

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As a Data Analyst, you play an essential role in making data accessible and useful across the planning and supply chain functions. You execute analyses, build reports and dashboards, and monitor KPIs that keep cross-functional teams informed and moving. This is a role for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, well-structured work and who wants to develop their analytical skills in a fast-paced, global environment. You will work closely with business users and Technology teams, learning how data flows through the organization and how it connects to real planning and commercial decisions.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Data & Analytics team enables data-driven decision-making across the organization by delivering reliable, scalable, and accessible analytics solutions. The team partners closely with business functions, Technology, and Business Process to transform data into actionable insights, governed metrics, and advanced analytical capabilities. Through a self-service model, the team empowers users with the tools, data, and knowledge needed to make informed, timely decisions.

If you were in the Data Analyst role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Executing analyses and building reports and dashboards that provide descriptive insights to support business users across planning and supply chain functions
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, identifying data issues and escalating where needed
  • Preparing and maintaining curated datasets to support ongoing analytical work
  • Supporting business requests for data and analysis, translating needs into clear, structured outputs and supporting the development of analytical solutions
  • Supporting data adoption and continuous improvement by maintaining documentation, refining reports, and contributing to enhancements in analytics tools and processes

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Developing standardized reporting frameworks and dashboard solutions that scale across the supply chain
  • Contributing to the self-service analytics model by building reusable reports and supporting user access to data while ensuring data validation and business requirements are met
  • Identifying data gaps, refining reports, and contributing to incremental enhancements in analytics delivery
  • Supporting scenario analysis inputs that feed into broader supply chain and planning decision-making

Are you our next Data Analyst?

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • You have 3-5+ years of experience in a data analyst, reporting, or business intelligence role, preferably within a supply chain, retail, or consumer goods environment
  • You have hands-on proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau
  • You have a basic understanding of data modeling concepts and general awareness of data governance practices
  • You identify issues in data and present findings clearly to business users and cross-functional stakeholders
  • You produce descriptive insights that provide inputs into decision support processes
  • You prepare and use curated datasets to execute analysis and reporting requests accurately and efficiently
  • You have some exposure to advanced analytics concepts and an interest in continuing to develop in this area

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is CAD$82,000 ~CAD$108,000
