Job description

Mission

Your Role

The Data &Performance Specialist plays a critical role in transforming product, customer, trial, field performance, and industry data into clear performance insights, practical recommendations, and measurable economic value for our customers. This role strengthens Hybrid Turkeys’ ability to make data-driven decisions by applying advanced analytics, benchmarking, digital tools, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled analysis and predictive modelling, to better understand product performance across the full value chain. By linking field-level observations and performance outcomes back to the genetics team, the role helps the organization better understand and consider strategies to minimize genetics-by-environment variability while identifying opportunities to improve both customer outcomes and internal decision-making. These data-driven insights help customers modernize and elevate on-farm management practices, while also supporting Hybrid Turkeys’ genetic selection efforts through stronger evidence, clearer performance feedback, and a deeper understanding of how products perform under commercial conditions. By connecting technical expertise with commercial impact, the position supports customer success, drives continuous improvement, and helps position Hybrid as a forward-looking partner in the use of data, technology, and innovation within the turkey industry.

Responsibilities

· Collect, integrate, validate, and analyze product, customer, trial, and industry performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and value drivers across the full production chain.

· Leverage digital tools, such as TurkeyTrac, dashboards, data visualization platforms, and AI-enabled analytics to translate technical data into clear commercial insights and recommendations while improving the speed, accuracy, and usability of performance reporting for internal teams and customers.

· Use predictive modelling, scenario analysis, and AI-supported tools to assess product performance, production economics, and potential performance outcomes under different customer or market conditions.

· Travel regularly throughout the U.S. for on-farm visits to connect in-person flock performance with received data insights; expected travel requirement is 50%.

· Create and maintain practical sales, service, and customer support tools that demonstrate Hybrid product benefits for breeders, commercial operations, processing plants, and other key value-chain stakeholders.

· Collaborate with sales, technical and marketing teams to convert data insights into compelling value propositions, product positioning materials, training content, and decision-support resources.

· Provide technical and analytical support to customers through visits, troubleshooting, performance reviews, trial follow-up, and customized recommendations that strengthen customer confidence and product adoption.

· Build internal capability by providing insights & training on product performance, production economics, benchmarking, digital tools, and the use of AI and analytics in customer and commercial decision-making.

Profile

  • Post secondary education in Agriculture, Poultry Science, Genetics, Physiology, Nutrition, Data Science, Statistics or a related field of study
  • 3 - 5 years of experience working within the poultry industry with extensive knowledge of breeders, commercials and processing
  • Experience in statistical and data analysis
  • Customer focused (internally and externally)
  • High level of computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Digital systems, data platforms and AI-enabled decision-support tool experience
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellence organizational skills
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel
